I was in my local AD and was about to close the deal on a DD2 with glarcia diamond dial, but my AD keep telling me to get a PP instead for that sort of money. I already have a few PPs and I have benefited heaps from his advise on most of my high end purch... 

which one gives you the biggest thrill to wear?

If you are comfortable with the weight of the watch, go with the DD2. It's a unique watch and will only compliment the Pateks that you have.

and could never quite pull the trigger on a dd2 w/ the glacier dial in platinum... I would always seem to find myself attracted to a more complicated piece or an independent. If I were you... I'd actually take the plunge because it'll only get more expens...
