Hello FremStar! I love the present rendition of the TOG...
... and the fact that I don´t own one is that I had some priorities in my purchases, but it definitively is in my wish list.
I do own some vintage TOG, and I cordially invite to read this post about them: "Thunderbird: a legend from the sky" which you can easily find in the central column of the Rolex sub forum.
I just added another steel example to my collection, some time after publishing said article.
Hope you´ll enjoy reading, as well as viewing some very nice examples shown by our colleagues in passion here.,

Where did you read that there is no love for the TOG?
Certainly not here! Do a search here, you will fall on several posts which will show you the contrary. Best; Nicolas

In that case I think I will be in great company here! My thoughts were based on sluggish sales and the fact that Rolex scrapped the TOG line! In any event I will check out previous posts where folks discussed the TOG! Fun times ahead! ;-) Cheers! ...

My friend here in office has one, just like yours - it's a beautifully clean simple Rolex - with just the right level of detail and highlights to draw your eye to it. Very nice. Where's the tie?? ;-) Cheers Tony
