Hello all, I bought my very first Rolex in 1998. It is a Oyster Date. I can't locate the papers now but does anyone have a good guess what that model number may have been?! Thanks in advance for any input. James

It will be a ref. 15xxx if from 1998
The xxx depends on the bezel type (smooth, engine turned, fluted) and the metal (stainless steel, ss + yellow gold, ss + white gold) and even dial type. For example, fully stainless steel with smooth bezel and it should be a Ref. 15000 Oyster Date.
