Rolex

Thanks to RaymondS who let me play with this Daytona. I already said it, I am not a fan of Daytonas, but in this case, I changed my mind. This version is a king of Cool! The only problem is to find one at the retail. I will let fate decide if it is for me...  

I ordered a white one and received a black six months after. I didn't decline when the AD called me, I'm happy with it. Last week I gave Rolex Paris a call and ask them if I could change the dial. The associate told me it's possible on some models, maybe ... 

To find one at retail is not impossible, just a matter of when. Hope you get yours soon one day.

But make sure that you have seen the black dial in the metal too before you decide. It completely changed my mind. Best, Volker

But yes I know what you mean once you’ve seen a Porcelain dial in the flesh it’s game over. Having said that the Ceramic white Daytona is a special watch and for me the white definitely has the edge. Enjoy the chase because after all it’s the chase we all...

Can you tell more ???

As you know I love the 16520 in black dial version (specially if Patrizzi dial) but if white then this 116500 is a very serious contender. I am not far to go for one soon...

This is making it hard to be content with my black dial ceramic Daytona; I've been waiting more than 1 year for a white dial from my AD. First world problem at its finest.

but then again I have a preference for white dials.
