First of all....
Welcome here. This is a great forum for Rolex and you will find loads of people here who really know, understand and love their watches.
I would echo Nicolas's comment on service. Rolex is a watch that is made to be worn...not kept in cotton wool. Its great that you wear your so much. Every few years it will need some oil, replace worn parts etc. Its a bit like a car...if serviced and cared for properly, it will last longer than you!

If you wear it on a daily basis, just service it each 5 to 7 years.
And it will perpetually last... Well, you got the idea, not sure it will last 1000 years, but enough to give it to the next generation, without problems. I have some 50 years old Rolexes, and they work flawessly. Much better than myself. Best and welcome ...

It was serviced about 2 months ago prior to my purchase. Waterproof and all... I just wanted to make sure. Cant be too careful.
