Finally a blue Rolex for me.
Hi, fellow Purists,
I just traded my 116600 Sea-Dweller 4000 for a 116622 Blue Yacht-Master on last Friday. As much as I love the SD, the overall design of the YM suits me better. The YM's thinner case, flatter back and slightly shorter (and apparently slimmer) curved lugs provide a very comfortable fit to my skinny wrist.
I always want something blue to complement my small Rolex collection, and this one is just perfect.
Love that sunburst dial.

Congrats on your new acquisition! Wear it in the best of health! This sounds crazy, but I've been mulling over whether to trade my yachtmaster blue for a Deep Sea 4000!
It sounds fine to me. Our tastes and likes evolve over time, and

the blue YM is really a nice watch. It's somehow finished in a nice way than most Rolexes and I always have a feeling that it has a bit more "Class" than other Rolex models. Furthermore, it is not as obvious as i.e. Submariner. Best, Kari

It's true that YM is not as popular as some other models.
But that's not a bad thing, either. ^_^ I would also love to see more sharing of the Yacht-Master. Blue, Platinum, or the new rose gold! All welcome!
