Extended time with the Hulk
Travel offers an excuse for extended time with watches. I don’t have the discipline at home to stick with the same watch too long.
This time it’s the Sub. I think the last time I wore it for these number of consecutive days was 2019 (also on a trip).
The beauty of Rolex as we’ve said before is that it doesn’t require much thinking, unless one is thinking about where is not a good place to wear one, and it’s versatile. On the latter point for me that’s less true for the Sub as it’s a bit too large to be truly versatile and so for trips where work is also involved I’d opt for a smaller case (36mm).
But for this trip, it’s perfect!
