hi all
long time no speak...
one question re the dial. The early 1019 had the 1/5 hash markers on the dial, while later dials were changed over to a 1/2 hash markers. but when? do u know?

Credit picture: Phillips. This was has been made in 1970 and sold in... 1988! 18 years between these two dates, that must be a record. The evidence that, at that time, the Milgauss 1019 was not really what we can call a success. Time have changed... Best,...
I know the eigthies, I had a nice time. I think I am a little old now. How ever, i remember that the Rolex sports models where not very sougth after.
I bougth a GMT Pepsi in the eigthies, and everyone said how ugly that is. So I sold it ! It was the great time from DayDate and Datejust. Buen fin des semana!
Change for the 1019, but for the modern Milgauss, again not popular

I have a 16808 that was in stock for 9 years. I spoke to the AD who remembers it and had a party when it sold. M.
I remember
that just 80's were Day-Date and especially TT Datejust very popular, Steel sport Rolexes were not so desired and the least desired were Exp, AK and watches like those which didn't get much attention if you didn't know anything about them.
