California dials are really beautiful...
... though may be the most troublesome variant, as there are many non originals going in the field...
As a matter of fact, I own one, which I feel is original, but redone. It was my first vintage, and the timepiece which fired my interest in watch collecting, just a few years ago.
Now I look for completely original dials, but it I was completely a newcomer to the "sport" of collecting then, and my enthusiasm and heart, did better than my suspicions and head.
It is a nice little watch anyway. A 3372 reference, of c. 1946. That´s two years older than me!
I feel one bb will reach your stable, sooner or later Nicolas!

I am always in panic when I see a black one.
