I recently saw the use that Breguet has made of anti-magnetic materials with their new 10Hz movement, basically using magnets to keep the balance pivots “floating”, thereby reducing friction and improving accuracy. I was extremely impressed.
I don’t know about the Milgauss, but antimagnetic materials in my opinion have a great future in modern watchmaking.

But aren't most modern watches with silicon hairsprings and combinations of non- ferrous metals equal to the Milgauss in practice?
