How captivating is a glossy dial when the light is good, while living in our eternally grey towns, you feel more than you see... Almost all the pics I took of my 5508 needed the help of a flash, so it was time to submit this beauty to its natural environm...  

Some would hesitate to wear this beauty let alone subject it to the elements. Those pics. are getting to be too professionally taken. Are you sure you didn't bring Jocke with you? ( no offence Jocke ) cheers fernando

The lack of crownguards and date give the watch a completely different look versus the current Sub, or even many other popular vintage Subs. Great holiday shots, as usual! I feel that one of these days I will succumb to the allure of Rolex. I'm just not s... 

That is a " Shakesperian " question... I wouldn't say that one is cooler than the other, as they are very different Subs, and as I also found some very appealing crownguard Subs. The more you dig, the more you're embarassed, but you know this phenomenon. ...
