Rolex

Following Nicolas's post of the "unpopular" 1019, it reminded me that it has been some time since mine was out of the safebox.. The 1019 is a core watch for me. Always brings pleasure. ...  

.....it doesn't look like a Rolex. Its actually quite hard to buy as its never No.1 on the buy list. Took me years to pull the trigger. I am glad I did.

Personally I would go for the white dialed version. But hey, you can't go wrong with a 1019 can you?

In the end, it chooses you.

I wish it would be still as under-appreciated as it was for a long time... and yes, my preference would also be the white dial

just wondering, do you always have it on the bracelet or do you also like it on strap?

I would love to have the silver "CERN" edition with the dial and hands with blackout where the lume would normally be.

. . . 1019s, Joe. The most desirable personally, albeit the least obtainable. :-( Once my Omega collection is fixed, it'll be time to hunt a Veriflat.
