A few few years ago I made a different experience with
my JLC Grande Reverso GMT 8 days in RG.
Strolling through the streets of Vienna a dream woman with cool hip swing came in sight and walked in my direction.
I was fascinated and my eyes were out of control. But - since I'm married - the punishment followed swiftly.
During passing each other she slightly touched my JLC with her handbag. It felt like the strike of a butterfly wing.
But the result was terrible: there was suddenly a cut in the watch case as deep as a canyon!! I was close to a nervous breakdown.
Fortunately my AD and JLC were very kind and helpful. JLC made a perfect repair including laser treatment. And charged nothing for this service...

Ach....what is silly? A sports watch in WG? Maybe. Silly could also be strapping on a 47 mm rose gold dive watch with a depth rating of 50m and going to the office? Do you like it? That's all that counts in the end.

some said that a sports watch in WG is silly, other said that this watch is the very same of a steel sub, so I'm paying a big premium for the blue color. But i dont mind it, they have their opinion and I have mine.
The Smurf is my wife's favorite Rolex

IMHO you can do everything / and every activity with this watch. My experience with Rolex gold alloy is that it seems tougher than others and really resistant. So I wouldn\'t handle it too gentle. Just my 2 c. Best, Thomas
