Rolex

I came accross a quite interesting Daytona cosmograph 6263.... it is from 1980.... manual movement.... valjpux 727..... although it is 36.5mm it looks and feels bigger.... So what do you think? thanks cheers...

There are many nice watches around, probably 6263 ("normal" dial) is one of the three in zone medal. As Nicolas wrote, also Breguet Type XX has a nice look. Two pics for comparison ..................

Yes, it is a cool watch, a nice watch, but its price reaches the sky. So you'd better wonder what you're looking for. If it is a cool watch you're after, you may consider some other very cool options, but much more affordable, as the Jaeger 4 ATM, or the ... 

I dod not really consider this as a status watch.... (it may be but some but not me).... the movement is interesting..... the design is superb...... as for the others that you mention.... the Heuer is not at the same level for eg.... But lets go back to t...

...but I must say that I really like the dial display of the Cosmograph (I'm a sucker for chronographs). The association with the world of car racing is also important to me. I would say that the Submariner in general is a more rugged watch: unlike the Co...

I love Daytonas. I think they are truly iconic. I love their origins. I love the fact that their initial reception (a reception that lasted for 20 years) was truly unappreciated. I love the fact that the Rolex design that embodies the Daytona provides the...

It is a gift to my fiancee and i have to give it to him first , but as soon as i do that i will post some pictures!!!!

The 6263 with the red 'Daytona' on a silver dial is just sublime. This is not an understated watch, as people do notice. I get quite a few questions and compliments from non watch lovers. Regards Rene This message has been edited by Oztimelord on 2010-05-...
