I recently acquired a white gold Rolex Day-Date, reference 1803. What's particularly interesting about this watch is the unique 'ghost' dial, where the printing seems to disappear at certain angles.

I had been searching quite extensively for one of these. While Datejust models appear for sale somewhat more frequently, this particular Day-Date with the ghost dial remains a very rare find.

My next step is to locate a matching bracelet. I've heard a rumor, particularly concerning dealers in Hong Kong, that these watches were sometimes offered as head-only to clients at a lower price. The bracelets, it's said, were then melted down for their gold. I'm unsure of the accuracy of this, but it does sound plausible.
