wondered why the Cellini line isn’t more successful. Maybe Rolex should make a more affordable steel version.
The casual consumer probably wants a higher WR and metal bracelet when purchasing a Rolex
...neither of which the Cellini represent unfortunately. Cellini are worn more like traditional watches than 'status' jewelry, although I think they're quite attractive and have all the build quality of any other Rolex model.

a Rolex and the Cellini it doesn’t. I fancied many times with purchasing one as long as they made a steel version. I didn’t remember it is discontinued so no more waiting. Best.

The 1908 replaces it. I think the 1908 is lovely and will eventually buy one.
