It is actually quite rare to find matching indices / hands on this model. Typically, the indices tend to have aged darker than the hands.

Didn't know that was common 'problem' with this model

Mine is from 1995, and has a consistent ivory patina across hands and indices. I concur that late 80's / early 90's 16570 can be found with stronger patina for the indices, but mismatching hands patina is frequent, with matching patina being the exception...
