...for your great report. And also for your commitment on this great brand (have seen you on the video at the ALS blog )

I'm not sure how to find this new line. Do you know if the Pulsion replaces the Easy Diver? For me the brand steps a little bit in Hollywood direction. It seems to me that the show is bigger than the watches (and there are really big ;-) ). When I became fan of this brand (years ago in the Carlos Dias era) RD had a very strong design and was always recognizable as a Roger Dubuis watch. For this case it was not the taste of the crowd but it was for individualists. It was the niche off road to other brands...Easy Diver, Excalibur, Golden Square / Kings Sqare...a very special design...a face in the crowd. Thats why I bought my RD watch.

When I look at the new collection..especially the Pulsion I'm a little bit dazzled. For me it looks like ANY watch. Have seen it several times on other watches (JLC Aston Marton Chrono, Tag Heuer...). With no doubt the quality of the case, the movement and the haptic impression is great. But there is no Kick for me (as well the readability of time / hands has some space for improvement).

For me this way wich Roger Dubuis walks, goes to the wrong direction. I'm sure that this design will reach a greater audiance and this will bring growth to RD and a better business result...but loose a lot of karma points for me.
