First. the RD is a great looking "oldie", very different from the ultra-modern line of RD today.
And the strap! Thumbs up. Looks great.
Well, I actually spotted something else that caught my eye.
So, I let it go. It's such a beauty and all, but I found it a hard sell when I went to trade it in. Unfortunately, for me, I found that it isn't an easy sell for the dealers, so I got what I could get.
Fair enough. And (watch) life goes on!
As for me, an HO40 right now sits at the top, among watches I want to acquire. All good, chk
I was quite apprehensive before pickup, thinking I made a mistake.
Once the strap was put on the watch, and the watch was on the wrist. I felt much better.

It's a leather 2-watch case by watchmaker Dornbluth & sons
I won the case from a naming contest by Dornbluth (the son) when it released a power reserve model. I don't know who made the leather case.
The Golden Square 40x40 is quite large for me
