Reason RM gives for using red is visibility in turbid water (same thing they stated for the RM 025), which is
true for such diving conditions where yellow, orange and red are good
for direct views.
What I find strange is that no mention is made of SuperLuminova, and bigger luminous hands and indices -- which you'd expect for a diving watch...

I like it, including the screw placement on the bezel, the rubber strap looks cool, and I like the crown. Maybe the numbers can be a little smaller or less obvious on the bezel. Also Chris I totally agree about the vacation watch aspect.

I do a lot of scuba diving (have about 160 dives logged). When I looked at this watch I had to smile. The reason is that the ad for the watch says the main markers on the dial are highlighted in red. Whoever designed the watch obviously is not a scuba div...
