is there already more info regarding price?

It is not my kind of RM, can I post pics or is there an embargo on it.

I flat out don't like it and I love RM. Its probably my favorite brand. I don't know how it could have been done, but I would have loved a diver in the regular RM case. I'm afraid 47 MM is way to big for my tiny wrists. I'm sure it will sell well but I am very partial to the early RM designs.

...I am liking that, perfect 'going on holiday' watch for me. Always like a nice rubber strapped chunky watch for those lazy beach holidays, I may have just found it. Quite happy that the size seems ok at only 1.5 cm thick...look forward to seeing one in the flesh

I like it, including the screw placement on the bezel, the rubber strap looks cool, and I like the crown.  Maybe the numbers can be a little smaller or less obvious on the bezel.

Also Chris I totally agree about the vacation watch aspect.

I'm a big fan of RMs, and while RM025 model was not in RM's traditional case, it looked good - the case seemed to go well with the movement.

However, the RM028 doesn't seem to harmonize the rm005 movement and the newer casing as well as the RM025 did.

My 2 cents.

told.  As soon as I know I will state the price here.  Good to see interest in the new model - good and bad.  One person's meat is another person's poison.  Not for me as I personally still love the tonneau shape (like the RM002), but that is my preference and there are probably some out there who hate it.

I do a lot of scuba diving (have about 160 dives logged). When I looked at this watch I had to smile. The reason is that the ad for the watch says the main markers on the dial are highlighted in red. Whoever designed the watch obviously is not a scuba diver. The reason I know this is because the color RED DISAPPEARS AFTER ABOUT 20 FEET UNDER WATER. It changes to grey. So my guess is that this watch is more designed for the shower rather then actual diving (not that anyone would wear a half million dollar watch diving ).

I own a RM 008 and have had a number of problems with it. So the fact that this watch didn't even get the colors right tells me that whoever purchases it will be sending it back to Mille a time or two. Maybe that's to be expected with these types of watches.

Reason RM gives for using red is visibility in turbid water (same thing they stated for the RM 025), which is true for such diving conditions where yellow, orange and red are good for direct views. 

What I find strange is that no mention is made of SuperLuminova, and bigger luminous hands and indices -- which you'd expect for a diving watch...
