forum members around here. However, this is what I know: the RM029 has basically the same base movement over the RM010. Both are from Vaucher. However, the RM029 has an improved and augmented movement over the RM010.

At the end of the day, it should be the watch that speaks to you. If the RM029 is the watch you want and can live with: its what you want to wear every day, and you have the funds, then wear the watch in the very best of health! Please tell us how the decision works out.

But if both are within your means, i'd spring for the 29. The date on this particular movement can get pretty hard to read. Plus, it's a little less common (for an RM) if that matters.

Thanks Andrew and HPoirot for your thoughts - I decided to go for the RM29 and I'm liking it more every day (wondering why I waited so long to pu the trigger). Runs a little faster than I would like (10 seconds per day) but I'll put aside my OCD for once ...
