I compliment you on your nice watch (I had the same) and naturally for your sporting activity!!!
It is as simple as that - I prefer to wear my watches at sports , too and a racing machine on the wrist should withstand such activities.

Agreed.. I've been using my RM11 WG for endurance car racing for the past 3 years and still works fine.

Congratulations on completing the marathon! The watch looks excellent on your wrist, and you'll always remember the feeling of accomplishment when you strap it on. I half a marathon coming up this summer, but I doubt i will be seeing anyone sporting somet...

Mine get used properly too, cannot beat a good pool or beach for playing with the RM's ...
Way to go
For sports activities I'd try to stay away from leather strap due to my profuse sweat, so rubber strapped 005 is my companion when cycling.
