Virtually all gray market dealers advertise their watches as new, that’s an industry standard, regardless if the seals were removed, cords are cut, and it was previously owned and previously worn. Now if you bought from an AD or directly from an RM boutique, and have the papers to prove such, that may help you with your sale/trade.

Depending on condition and completeness of your RM 010 will determine the
market value. Not everyone wants the
Americas version, which I believe is blue flange blue winder, but it was a
limited model so you just need to find the right buyer. The probability of the right buyer wanting to
trade his newly acquired RM 035 for a blue bordered RM 010 + cash is quit slim,
a competent dealer on the other hand would always present an offer.
