That article was poorly
written and its a shame it was even published. I can't say that I blame the ignorance of some of the people that posted comments because most people can not begin to fathom how hard it is to build a tourbillon, or even what a tourbillon is for that matter. Obviously some of them were rude, but I think the article was biased to make it look like a 500k watch was some how a slight on the human race and it was only expensive because Nadal was wearing it.
I personally love the watch, but would really like it better if it did not say Nadal on the dial.

After reading some of the comments left for the article, I'm concerned about who is reading the WSJ lately. I understand that the concept of a $500,000 watch is not for everyone, but there seems to be a lot of closed-minded people posting on that section....

say Nadal on the final production version...?
That was the prototype - I was kindly allowed to the
review the watch ahead of release. The production version does say Nadal. There were also improvements in the case material, as well as slight adjustments to the movement between the prototype that I saw and the final production version. Andrew H
I also want to add, if the writer thinks a $500k watch is absurd
