Now, your opinions are very valuable to me but still find choosing very difficult.... Love your deduction process in figuring out what my eyes are set on. At the moment you are right in that it is between 002 and 004... far from low end entry level pieces, particularly not for my collection. However they are such interesting pieces from many aspects and mechanical marvels. However I have to find a way to handle one in the real before making decision. Not that easy but hope there will be a way to do so. My experience in handling RM so far are limited to 005, 010, 011, 029, 030, 035, 055, 061 in various iterations. Aside from 011 I have really enjoyed all on my wrist. The 011 simply wears too large for my taste.... But when I read about the early references, 002 and 004 in particular, my mind really goes wandering off to dreamland.... by no means small commitments but perhaps some of the more compelling timepieces out there in that price range.... will keep you posted!
WG vs Ti

White gold is considerably heavier

My top picks as well to be honest
But I think that in this case the 004 is the winner It has THE perfect size and has one of the best split second ratrappante out there and it is RMs ultimate chrono and now a signature movement I miss mine dearly and kick myself to this day for letting go...
