yup....my palms became sweaty and heart started racing when i learned the asking price for the RM 009. i was looking to try on an RM 05 and was told by the nice salesperson that he didn't have one (discontinued) but he had another watch with the same size......the RM 09 was out there in the showcase! The RM09 was as light as the RM27, like that unbelievable barely-there sensation.
there was also two (2) RM 28s and a few RM11, along with a WG RM10

Despite all the watch boutiques in New York City, there is only one jewelry store (Cellini) that carries Richard Mille. I found the people at the Madison Ave location to be rather nasty in the past, so went to the location at the Waldorf Astoria. Quality ...

i beleive that he 009 is the ultimate RM and the 12 in short second when i was in NYC i did the opposite and visited the Cellini on madison ave. their selection of RM wasnt bad but no 009 :(

Quality of service at Cellini in the Waldor Astoria is superb
as well as the selection of watches on display, probably one of the best stores in the entire world in terms of stock on hand in regards to quality pieces. Cheers, Anthony

Love Cellini's
I made my first visit to the Waldorf Astoria location a few years ago when I was only 14 or 15, and the service was still phenomenal - proves that they care about building customer relations. I got to try on a UN Hourstriker :D
