RM004 vs Lange Double Split

On Theodore's previous answer to my post he said,

"The RM 004 can't really be compared to anything, as it is a completely new in house movement made by APR&P. There is nothing to compare it to!"

Since both are priced roughly in the same neighborhood (give and take USD 20K) and both are completely new in house movement, what do you guys think of these two watches? Which would you buy?

The double split overcomes a shortcoming of normal rattrapantes which is the risk of damaging the movement from drag as tension on the spring increases if you let the split second chronograph run for longer than one minute.

Does RM004 use a spring between the split second and the sweeping second hand or does is disengange?
