RM repair
RM has always been very considerate with their repairs. Even though it is more than 3 years old, I am guessing it would only be the price of a 3 year maintenance to fix it. They will probly swap out the guts for new. After all, they have to maintain their image.

like the plating of the part did not go well. I have seen plated parts change color after a time because they forgot a layer or had problems with their plating bath. I don't know what metal that part is or how it was plated so I can't comment further. I w...
