Richard Mille is in the house . . .
First and foremost, many thanks to Steven, Diego, Allen and Thomas for facilitating my acquisition of a Richard Mille RM005 (WG). I could not have done it without their invaluable assistance and, for that, I am genuinely grateful.
After getting Diego’s blessings, I tried on a Ti RM010, but it was a tad too big for my wrist (the RM010 is 48mm, whereas the RM005 is 45mm). Thus, I decided to go with the RM005. I choose WG, rather than Ti, because the RM010 I tried on was Ti and it was feather light – I wanted something with more substance and weight.
Unable to find a RM005 advertised for sale, I placed a WTB listing and I received only one response – fortunately that was all I needed. Thank you Allen and Thomas.
The watch came with a black calf strap that is, IMHO, rather dull and unworthy of this stellar watch. Thus, I purchased a new Richard Mille croc strap.
The RM005 is an amazing watch. The case design and construction is totally unique and great looking. The Ti movement and partial skeleton dial is incredible. The case hugs your wrist like no other watch.
