Reunited with RM004
My history with RM goes back to 2007 when I purchased my Ti RM010 which I enjoyed for about a year and half before selling to move to a Ti RM004v2 .. its entertaining to look back at what I sold the 010 for back then .. someone got a good investment!
When I got the 004 I knew it was a timeless piece, here is the
'arrival' thread with a few images, but circumstances were such that it was a bit too much watch in one for me at the time, so it went to a new home. I've always missed the 004 and although my watch fever ebbed and flowed over the years I periodically keep an eye on the all grey version of the watch which I had determined was my favorite, although I had never seen one in real life!
Good news! It took 6 years but I did finally find that rm004 all grey.
It was meant to be - the circumstances were such that we were visiting with family in northern Italy this summer. Just a month prior to trip I found a perfect one for sale in Verona. I look about once a year for listings and the timing was miraculous. A great transaction was done and picked up a few weeks later.
Visited Geneva and met up with an rm friend with whom I saw a piece unique rm008 in pt .. really great service from the boutique manager and staff. Ordered a few straps to change things up!
And here are a few pictures for posterity ;-)

The RM004 in all-grey is my personal favourite of the reference as well.. the finish is superb and looks very nice on your wrist. Such a great story, and what timing! It's funny how a watch like that can come full circle, thank you for sharing. I have had...
