I've had absolutely no problems with my RM010. It seems to be a very solid design!
I've heard from several people outside this forum that they had problems with
RM005. Since RM010 is a later version of the same base movement, it's likely
it has become quite reliable and many problems with the RM005 are no longer
present in the RM010.

That comment has me scratching my head. RM005 and RM010 do not even remotely seem like watches I'd wear with formal clothes. In fact, they would probably be my last pick for formal wear. Eric von Schonberg

I think that the RM 005 looks great while wearing a nice suit. I have worn it to several events, and everytime I have worn it, I have received compliments on the watch. I had a yg patek a few years ago, that come to think of ,I never received any comments...

What I think is a great watch for formal wear will be different than yours Having said that, I think any RM would be great with a suit or tuxedo. People still wear black plastic quartz IronMan watches with suits/tuxedos, so to each his own. Cheers, Anthon...
