holding value
I read with interest on this topic of pricing and holding value. I guess like any luxury goods, during bad times, these will be hardest hit. Anyway, for all those watch lovers, buy what you afford and enjoy it. Of course, in my humble opinion, it is not bad to have substantial savings and still have a nice RM watch that can be bought in the secondary market. Save hard and look for good bargains as the year unfolds....

I think you are assuming these people selling paid list for their watch. I would bet that most people ask for and receive some discount from their AD, so the price paid vs the asking price is a much better comparison than the retail and the asking price.
