:-)) Seriously, now that I think about it the no-pic policy might really be set at the country-level then, as when we also went to a boutique in the US (it was Vegas last year) there was indeed no way to take pictures...

That was my only RM experience in the US though (where they again had some gorgeous pieces!), while here in Italy we took several wristshots with no complaints on at least a couple of occasions, as is the case with many other brands over here. This is IMO the correct policy --- if some beautiful pictures end up circulating, like in this case, it can only benefit the brand ;-)

So I was in Taipei this week for my internship and decided to stop by the Richard Millie shop. I asked if they had the curved Richard MIlle (with my limited Chinese :p) and they said "sure, please wait a few minutes" and they went in back to get the watch...
