First post with a Bang! RM 70-01

Jul 15, 2018,19:33 PM

So I was in Taipei this week for my internship and decided to stop by the Richard Millie shop. I asked if they had the curved Richard MIlle (with my limited Chinese :p) and they said "sure, please wait a few minutes" and they went in back to get the watch. While we waited they had us sit down and another sale person brought over a large book about the watch. The watch finally came and they let me wear it, YAY!! My friend took these pictures. I pretended to be confident but inside I was screaming with joy smile

I did zoom in but it's not high-res enough for that . Thanks for the laugh, cheers, Filip

Thanks for sharing this special moment here Spencer! I never owned a RM myself (though this might change next!), but their level of courtesy and kindness is indeed outstanding...

Earlier this summer I had a chance to try on this beautiful $1M machine as I was passing by their Via Monte Napoleone boutique, and I've since remained friends via WhatsApp with their (kind and very knowledgeable) salesperson. Way to go RM! ...

Nice!

Thanks for the lovely photo! Cheers, Filip

Your friend must have been very stealthy in taking that photo.

The last two Boutiques I've been in have explained that they run a no wristshot / watch photo policy. Next time I'm bringing a friend!

:-)) Seriously, now that I think about it the no-pic policy might really be set at the country-level then, as when we also went to a boutique in the US (it was Vegas last year) there was indeed no way to take pictures...

That was my only RM experience in the US though (where they again had some gorgeous pieces!), while here in Italy we took several wristshots with no complaints on at least a couple of occasions, as is the case with many other brands over here. This is IMO...

It's odd looking watch from the first time I saw it, but looks ok on your wrist...

Most shots I saw it looked way oversized... I also have wonderful experience with RM boutique in Paris... they treated me like I'm a big collector, showed me all models, allowed to do photos, get me some Evian water and cookies and I just stopped by as a ...

Have always wanted to enter too!

But I've always lacked the courage to take the first step in. Was it fear of trying or vladding. I wonder
