Wonderful images —

Especially the photo of the man strolling (could we say flaner?) thru the fog embedded in the post. The hats! What an age!  I am reading The Short Story of Photography by Ian Haydn Smith, with lots of images, and was first exposed to Robert Frank in this work a week or so ago. Christmas dinner leftovers are in the oven — nice to bide the time with this posting.

here the tradition is to do major house cleaning at year end... something I really need to address ; ). Photo books are a good source... but they can be expensive and/or out of print. We are lucky to have an excellent photo library at the Tokyo Metropolit...

is another must visit spot in Tokyo where you can see , handle and dine with the most amazing photobook library .. Photo Book Dining Megutama - I am sure you and any of our friends here will enjoy it!!!! Regards from the PCNW
