Why do we KEEP photographs
Following on from TheMadDruid's question earlier... Why do we keep boxes of slides, negatives, prints, and the digital equivalent. It's too complicated; I have some deep-seated need that I can't resolve when I think of deleting more than a few fuzzy images;
my wife says "Dump 50,000 -- it won't change your life"
my friend Steve says "When my house burned down, I lost all of them; I lost a part of me that I'll never get back"
