True Story...

I’m a Bowie fanatic..in 2002 we were living in Brooklyn on the waterfront (Dumbo) in a loft. Next door there was a warehouse that served as a small concert venue for unknown acts. There was some guy scalping tickets outside my door. I asked him who the act was and he said “David Bowie...he goes on in 15 minutes” ...got the cash...walked out my door and into the warehouse literally one meter away...the original line up ..Almorar, Slick etc...200 people maximum...what a night..went back upstairs to my loft...watched Bowie walk out and get in his limo...only in New York!!!
