The difference is a somewhat obscure, but I like looking for details...
The balusters in the 8th photo (colour) have different patterns / colours
Upper balcony: three dark - two light
Middle balcony: three light - two dark
Lower balcony: three dark - two light

My two favorites are...
the b&w land reclamation project and the close-up of roots overtaking the stone wall BTW: Did you spot the difference between the two railings? Kudos for walking around... Casey .

That dark patch on the top left corner of the first was actually my finger blocking part of the lens (I cropped most of it out). Do you mean the railings in the second last pic? I'm not seeing it. Cheers fernando

I love the second one
from the top. The colors, the light, the composition. In my imagination, it's a flag (stars & stripes) moving in the wind in the upper right corner. Highly suggestive photograph! Cheers Marc
