I’ve done moon shots before but then just the full or half moon against black sky.
Bringing in ambient light sunset (sunset and moon rise were only 10 min apart) created a whole new spectrum of variables to consider.
Next month the local astrology group (under auspiciën of local university) is organizing a small tutorial in astronomy and Astro photography. I’ve signed up for it but on waiting list as due to covid it’s limited to only 6 people.
Hope to get in because they will go 2 hours deep in the desert. Guaranteed darkness with only Dubai city lights on the horizon. Plus with our winter climate virtually zero change of clouds and very clear air.
