The feeling is very subliminal, very "just below the threshold of consciousness" - consciously, it's a bit cluttered and the eye doesn't really focus anywhere, but keeps getting drawn back to the pic... Nice!

yet there is nothing going on. No human activity. A very complex still-life. Dark and light and subtle color-changes. There is a ton of interesting stuff here. You have a great eye for a compelling picture.
People and street life have been my main focus, primarily for the emotional content but a quiet scene like this also speaks volumes and takes a keen eye to spot the subtleties. ...
is the hot steel city above the idyllic scene and all that seeming juxtaposition conjures up... particularly as the photographer was aware of the duality and included it. Very nice shot... where the foreground is full but underplayed. Casey
