some parting shots...

Oct 28, 2020,16:45 PM

Part 03 of a recent trip to Nagano Prefecture.
The sun tried to make an appearance...
I used Fujifilm ISO400 for these photos,
... do you notice any difference from the Ilford FP4+ (ISO 125) that I used in Part 01-02?

At the moment I am back in Nagano to enjoy the autumn colours,
Shooting digital this trip... This morning (Thursday), woke up to a foggy day.
Colour photos from this trip when I get back to Tokyo over the weekend.

Thanks for looking,
Casey

Like the wide and far view. Supposed the shadow in No.3 was from you😁. Look forward to your autumn color photos. Cheers!

Difficult to compare the films due to weather difference but the fuji looks a bit more clinical. I guess it is probably the better product but there was a bit more magic in your previous shots, in my humble opinion as a complete amateur.

I like the mid-tones of the Ilford a bit more that the somewhat (mid-tone) 'mud-ish-ness' of the Fuji...at some point I will try some Ilford on a clear sunny day ; ) Casey

Definitely more grainy with the Fujifilm iso400 but you can clearly see the difference when compared to digital.

It's been a quick by fun trip... only two nights this time and the plan is to be back again in mid November. Hope to have a few digital color shots to post up over the next few days... I did bring my film camera but ended up not even loading any film this...

Today I caught some farm families working to process this year's rice... vegies are very reasonably priced at the local farmers markets. It's a great time of year. Casey

That first photo... not a drone ; ) ... there was a steep hill behind the home plate. It was the light and dark clouds that caught my attention in the third... and yes that's my shadow. Casey
