Recently I took a look at the Panasonic Lx100 / Leica D-Lux Typ 109 when looking for a small digital camera... ended up with the Fuji X100T as I didn't really bond with the Lx100 / D-Lux Type 109 so in some way I agree with Mrs MTF.
One obvious choice would be the Leica Q Typ 116 (with grip option), but why not a Monochrom 246 or the new M 262 with a Summicron-M 35mm f/2 ASPH. My choice would be the Summilux-M 50mm f/1.4 ASPH. Depends on what she wants to photograph. Then again my original choice would be film, but that's another story... She can PM me for details.
