Quick review - Leica TL2 with 60mm/f2.8 macro lens.

I know there are many detailed reviews and comparisons of this camera available on the internet. This is just a quick synopsis of my impressions. Let me preface, when I find a brand that I love - be it in timepieces, writing instruments, cars, clothes, cameras, etc - I am very loyal to them. So, I have been shooting with the Leica D-lux series for 4-5 years now, until recently, when I started to crave something more. I wanted a camera with interchangeable lenses that was sleek, easy to carry, good build quality and reputation, and a quality sensor.
I found it all in the Leica TL2. Its silver finish, with solid build and touch screen display and minimalistic design were perfect for me. Not to mention, the full availability of Leica glass to use. I purchased the camera with 18mm lens, and then soon after the 60mm macro lens.
Pros - Design, Ease of use, Small/lightweight (easy to take anywhere), Magnificent pictures, Excellent customer service, Built in 32gb memory (just in case you forgot your SD card), USB-c, 4k video @30fps.
Cons - No built EVF, Expensive, Not a full frame sensor, Battery Life. No image stabilization.
On to the macro lens, it is fantastic. I have never shot macro photography before, and now I can't stop shooting. It's lightweight, AF is very fast (occasionally glitches), images are crisp/clean.
I think this is very well put together system. But it is expensive, and I am sure you probably could buy a similar system from a different manufacturer at a lessor cost. However, I am very happy with it and most importantly I use it everyday - trying to improve. I would definitely recommend this camera and lens. Thanks for reading (and looking). Here are some macro pics (handheld).
