Pepper № 12
Sep 16, 2020,13:39 PM
To acknowledge the work of Edward Weston (1886 – 1958). His famous "Pepper No. 30" photograph was taken during a four-day period from August 2–6, 1930... a little over 90 years ago. One of, if not his most well known photograph... the story behind the Weston "still lifes" were often the subject of speculation by critics. He wrote to a friend, "As you like it ‒ but this is just a pepper ‒ nothing else".
90 years on, here is my variation on that theme...
My first problem was finding an interestingly shaped pepper... all the supermarkets here make a point to provide identically well formed vegetables...
