Our sushi restaurant was located
on the 38 floor of the Shinagawa Prince Hotel... good service by JR Yamanote Line but Shinagawa Station doesn't have a direct connection to the [less expensive] Tokyo Metro system... I did visit the Canon Showroom in Shinagawa before supper... looked at the full frame EOS R system... kind of a bus-mans holiday ; )
Shinjuku is also a favorite location to stay when visiting Tokyo... there are some reasonable hotels and good [metro & JR] connections..

Shopping takes it to a whole different level ; ) Normally I am a big fan of cityscapes at night but this time I have a slight preference for the overcast & slightly foggy photo taken at 6:08 PM... but I do like the contrast of the two photos of Shinagawa ...
