when talking about what makes a photograph 'interesting', or interesting enough to cause-a-pause in ones daily life...

"Greatness is not the goal, goodness is". - Sam Abell... and when talking about his approach in the video "The Life of a Photograph: What makes a lasting photograph?", NatGeo photographer Abell emphasized: "Work with it, make the best picture you can".
Not saying that technique, viewer preferences, subject matter, and location doesn't matter, just thinking about things that we as photographers might focus on...
