My eyes initially see two very different skies in #1 vs #2. More pleasing in the iPhone shot due to clouds and blue sky But the less interesting drab gray sky in the Leica shot benefits the
statues by providing them with more even lighting. Back to the iPhone shot, any camera on auto exposure will always favor fast shutter speeds which freezes moving water where the longer exposures chosen with the Leica provides a smoother more pleasing and more realistic look to water when it's in motion. This is all aside from huge differences in their sensors (size and more) and image processing. In most
situations I prefer a good camera to any phone. Cameras are imaging machines and are better for exercising your brain where phones are computers which are therefore much better at "eating your brain"! ;-)
