Mike, this is an excellent thread...
and it's hard not to have noticed the changes in your photos... certainly you found a camera [and pace] that suites you at the moment... i.e. the Canon PowerShot SX70 HS is a 20.1MP compact camera with a 65x optical zoom (not electronic zoom)... 35mm equivalent focal range of 21-1,365mm using the DIGIC 8 processor.
The more I see [e.g. of your garden] the more I like... Have a great holiday.
