I couldn't explain my fascination for Palm Trees, but it is a fact I am deeply in love with them. Maybe because they remind me my childhood? Or because they disorient me, they are a way to escape from Paris, they are synonym of good times, holidays, freed...  

FOR SURE, Palm trees can be things of beauty -- this is the view leaving my front door in the evening However, this is the view of my palm trees reflected on the ash-covered hood of the Volvo after California wild fires 30 miles away from here View lookin...  

I also associate palm trees with happy times and have childhood memories of frequent visits to Maui... perhaps my favourite place on earth to truly relax. These trees make me smile. Best,
